Liz Sims grew up in the Midwest. She graduated from the University of Kansas in 2005 where she completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts with majors in both Illustration and Textile Design. While attending college Liz’s work was featured in numerous invitational shows as well as Fiber Arts Magazine. She also studied abroad in Florence, Italy and attended a summer class taught by an internationally renowned weaver at Haystack Mountain School of Crafts.

Liz has been a designer with Jill McDonald Design for over four years and has become an important part of the studio. With her beautiful sense of color and attention to detail Liz continues to work with Jill creating charming and distinctive designs.
